Swiper Viper invention took 35 years to perfect

ELKHART — If you need a quick way to clean up your mess, just get a Swiper Viper.

Lloyd Troyer, who is the inventor of the Swiper Viper, shares just how the invention came to be.

“The idea of the Swiper Viper was some 35 years ago when my wife and I had two small children and a couple pets, so I was way younger and there was always dreaded messes, and we had puppies,” Troyer said. “I went out and purchased a squeegee and I had a tray at home, and I made that work, it was better than anything we had, so it was a quick clean-up, but far from ideal.”
